Christiaan Engstrom (he/him) is an Advisor at the Aran Nebula Foundation.

He is the CEO at Evia Bio, a female-founded cryopreservation company serving the cell and gene therapy markets, and sits on multiple Boards as an advisor. Previously, he was the Founder and CEO at Cell Culture Company, a contract manufacturer of cellular materials. Prior to that, Christiaan led the nation’s largest pain management specialty medical clinic group out of bankruptcy and facilitated it’s sale to private equity.

Collaboration and growth are essential parts of Christiaan’s professional motivation. To promote those values, he curates Serious Talent® Chats, an exclusive global roundtable series gathering life science executives and investors. Christiaan built this platform to deliver critical resources to life sciences leaders through authentic connections. Over the past two years, he has hosted 150+ sessions attended by more than 1500 leaders.

Christiaan is the father of three boys still in the house (Sorin, Charlie, Wilder) and husband to Nicole. He lives in Minneapolis, MN and earned his MBA from the University of Minnesota.
